Contact form. Name, email, and message. Processed by Formspree (third party) and delivered to us by email. Kept as long as the conversation needs.
Studio newsletter. Email, optional name, and chosen shows. Stored on our subscriber service; emails are sent via Postmark. Every email carries an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing stops all mail for that list.
Author submissions. Legal name, pen name, email, website, book details, and a manuscript or audiobook link. Your submission is available to the review team; this may include third party service providers. It is retained for review and follow-up until removed by the team. To request an update, withdrawal, or deletion, email submissions@signalbox.studio with your reference number.
Booktok Cheat Code submissions. Same handling as author submissions.
Agreements and onboarding. Accepted authors sign their agreement via Documenso, which we self-host, and provide production details (bio, artwork permission, pronunciation notes, links) under that agreement.
Author payout and tax details. Accepted authors only, during onboarding: mailing address; payment method (direct deposit — account holder, routing and account numbers, account type — or paper check); tax status; and a W-9 for US persons, signed via self-hosted Documenso. Used solely to pay revenue share and meet tax-reporting obligations. Bank numbers are shown masked (last four digits) after saving. Retained [PLACEHOLDER: payout-data retention — D3 confirms]. No payment is ever taken from authors; there is no payment processor on this site.
Listen-click measurement. When you click a platform button we record the show, platform, device class (mobile/desktop), and any campaign tags in the URL. No cookies, no identifiers, [PLACEHOLDER: whether an IP address is stored — D3 confirms]. Used only to measure our own advertising.
No cookies, no browser storage, no third-party analytics or ad trackers. Fonts load from Google Fonts (a request to Google's servers carrying only the standard request data).
