How you get paid
There are no production fees. You receive a share of advertising receipts. The share and payment terms depend on the production track and are set out in your agreement before you sign. Revenue is not guaranteed.

A published book
Your book must already be published. For manuscript submissions, send the complete book. For an existing audiobook, send a marketplace link where we can hear a sample.
Rights and authority
You must confirm that you have the rights and authority to submit the work for podcast production and distribution, including rights to any existing audiobook recording you submit.

Book 1 for a series
You can ask us to consider the entire series or just Book 1. Start with Book 1’s manuscript or audiobook link; we’ll discuss any additional titles during review.
One complete submission
Have your book details, pitch, and publication date ready. For the manuscript track, upload EPUB, PDF, DOCX, or plain text, up to 20 MB. For an existing audiobook, provide an Audible or other marketplace link with a playable sample. We’ll collect source audio and promotional assets after acceptance.

What is a serialized audiobook podcast?
A book or audiobook produced as a podcast with a season of episodes that listeners can follow in their podcast app. Chapters are released daily. Each episode includes a reasonable number of audio advertisements, which is the source of author revenue.
Do I need an existing audiobook?
No. Choose the manuscript track if you want us to produce the audio. If you already have a recording, choose the existing-audiobook track.
What do you mean by custom voices for the AI narration?
All podcasts are built via the Signal Box, our proprietary podcast production engine that includes completely custom voices and audio generation, so the voices used in your podcast will be totally unique to your book. The Signal Box Platform is local and does not rely on cloud servers or data center usage for audio production.
Can I audition or choose the voices?
During planning, you can provide guidance on how you would like the voices to sound, but the final selection will be done by our staff. We may send you the voice selections for your input, but that is not guaranteed.
My audiobook is on Audible. Can I submit?
Yes, if you have the rights and authority to submit the work for podcast production and distribution, including rights to the existing recording. You’ll confirm this in the submission form.
Is there a fee?
We never charge a fee. We assume all production costs.
Can I submit a series?
Yes. Select whether you want us to consider the entire series or Book 1 only. Send Book 1’s manuscript or audiobook marketplace link, depending on your production track. Additional books and the titles covered by any agreement will be discussed separately.
Can Book 1 help listeners discover the rest of my audiobook series?
Yes. Book 1 can serve as a lead magnet: listeners discover your story through the podcast, then have a path to the later audiobooks. You can submit Book 1 on its own for this purpose or ask us to consider the whole series. Any additional titles are discussed separately.
Do I need to upload a manuscript?
Only for the manuscript track, so we can assess the complete story. For an existing audiobook, an Audible or other marketplace link with a playable sample is enough for initial review. We’ll collect source audio after acceptance. For either track, start with Book 1 if you’re submitting a series.
How long does review take?
We respond to submissions within 30 days, and usually much faster. Your receipt confirms that we have the submission. Contact us any time at submissions@signalbox.studio with its reference number if you need an update.
What happens if my book is accepted?
You’ll review an agreement covering the specific work, production approach, rights, and financial terms. After signing, we’ll collect production materials and any supporting assets you’d like to provide.
Can I update or withdraw my submission?
Yes. Email submissions@signalbox.studio with your reference number and the change you want to make. You can also request removal of your submitted materials.
